What is alum crystal deodorant ?
Most of the deodorant in the market contains alcohol, preservatives, and perfume; each of which is highly likely the main cause of irritation and allergic reaction on skin. The majority of the deodorant products tend to hide the person's bad odor by covering it up with fragrances.
Our alum crystal deodorant, on the other hand, is a mineral salt that prevents the growth of bacteria that causes smell (the main cause of bad odor). Hence, it is very effective in getting rid of smell; however, the product does not block our body's natural mechanism of water transpiration so it does not work as an antiperspirant.
There is no alcohol and no preservatives (no parabens) in the product. Thus, it does not clog your skin pores, it does not stain your clothes and it does not darken your underarm. Being a stone, you would have to rinse it with water before application so that it rolls smoothly on your skin.
